Yes, but we charge for our parts and services, unless the item is warranted by us. If you require warranty service from a particular vendor or manufacturer, please contact them.

Can I bring my computer to you for service?

Absolutely, in fact it is usually to your advantage to do so.

What are the advantages of bringing my computer to you for service?

The hourly rate is less, we can do a more thorough job, and we have more resources at our disposal so we can deal with almost any issue that may arise.

Does it cost less if I bring my computer to you for service?

Yes, we charge by the hour for onsite service and sometimes repairs can take a few hours or more.

Do I need to bring my computer in for service?

We recommend onsite service for businesses and networking issues. It is more cost-effective to have computers repaired at our workshop. If you request onsite service and a technician determines that your system needs to be brought back to our workshop for repairs, you may have to pay for onsite service and workshop service.

Can you pick up and/or deliver my computer?

Yes, however this service is subject to availability and a nominal service fee may apply, depending on the amount of work required and the distance involved.

Can you fix my computer right away?

We can usually fix a computer within three or four business days. If you want us to drop everything and work on your system right away, a rush fee will apply and premium rates apply for after-hours services. If your system requires specific parts that are not readily available, service may be delayed until the parts arrive, at which point rush service will resume. The rush fee and any applicable premium rates for after-hours service will still apply.

Do you provide emergency service after hours?

Yes, subject to availability; a rush fee and premium rates apply.

Do you provide emergency service on weekends and holidays?

Yes, subject to availability; a rush fee and premium rates apply.

My computer is not working, can you help?

Yes, we can repair your system so that it works like new, so long as the required parts and software are readily available.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your logon information for the BIOS and Administrator account, driver CD's, Windows or restore CD's, and product keys as applicable. For notebooks we'll need the power adapter and plug. Please do not bring cables or peripherals, unless there's a particular device you want installed.

Can you retrieve my files?

Yes, please see our Data Retrieval, Recovery, Backup & Restoration page for details.

Can you recover my files?

Maybe, please see our Data Retrieval, Recovery, Backup & Restoration page for details.

Can you backup my files?

Yes, please see our Data Retrieval, Recovery, Backup & Restoration page for details.

Can you restore my files?

Yes, please see our Data Retrieval, Recovery, Backup & Restoration page for details.

Can you restore my programs?

Yes, but you must provide us with the installation disks and product keys. Installed programs cannot be converted back into an installation disc, it just doesn't work that way. If needed, we can usually source current popular software at prices lower than most retail outlets. We do not provide pirated software.

Can you restore functionality to my current Windows installation?

Maybe. We can test, clean, repair and optimize your system if it's not corrupted beyond repair. If your system is really messed up it could take several hours or more to fix, and even then there is no guarantee that everything will perform as it should. The best way to restore the functionality, stability and performance of your system is to delete everything and start fresh.

My hard drive is full, can you help me?

Yes. We can free up space by cleaning out junk files and moving data to a Zip Disk, CD, DVD, memory stick, or our remote server. We can also install additional external and internal hard drives or optical drives to transfer files to.

I think my hard drive may have a problem, can you retrieve my data?

Maybe, please see our Data Retrieval, Recovery, Backup & Restoration page for details. Remember, all hard drives fail.
