Power Supplies - Most bargain computers have bargain power supplies that lack power and safety features. Low power means all the componants inside your computer will run hot, so premature thermal failure is likely. Plug in another drive or two and poof. It also means there is little or no protection for your internal components which is likely to cause catastrophic multiple hardware failures. With bargain power supplies, high failure rates are also common. Still think that bargain is a bargain? . Boo!

Our power supplies have plenty of power (watts and amps) and safety features, and their MTBF rating is 100,000 hours. Smile!

Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) - These are battery backup devices that are usually used to keep servers and mission critical workstations running during power outages. They should allow you at least enough time to save your work and safely shut down. Batteries have to be replaced about every 3 years, and the batteries usually cost almost as much as a new UPS, that's why our Voltage Regulators are so popular; no batteries. You want fresh batteries, which is why we do not stock UPS devices. UPS devices are special order items, and a non-refundable deposit or pre-payment is usually required.

Accessories - We also have a small supply of power bars, power cords, used power supplies and connectors.

Notebook Batteries and AC Power Adapters - Please see our NOTEBOOK ACCESSORIES page.
